ISET®

The ISET® technology (Isolation by SizE of Tumor/Trophoblastic cells) is an easy to use method provided by Rarecells Diagnostics. The system (device and consumables) extracts rare Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) and Circulating Tumor Microemboli (CTM) from the blood with a very high sensitivity and maintains their morphologi- cal and structural integrity. Intact CTCs/CTM can be further exposed to an in vitro diagnostic examination (eg. cytopathology and/or other characterization methods such as immuno-labeling, genetic and molecular DNA and RNA analyses).
